Heritage Challenge

The Rushcliffe Photographic Society would like to announce their Heritage Challenge, the public are asked to send their pictures/images of times past within the County to The Society who will make every effort to re visit the scene and to match the photograph from today's modern setting. Both images will then be displayed on the Society's new Web site.

How can you send the pictures/images?

  1. Upload directly via this web site. Upload Here.
  2. Download to CD and send CD via post to. See Contact Details.
  3. Upload via email to heritagechallenge@rushcliffeps.co.uk.
  4. Sending the actual photograph/picture providing it is adequately packaged. See Contact Details.
  5. Contact the Society at heritagechallenge@rushcliffeps.co.uk providing the necessary details to enable us to make arrangements to access the images..

What can these 'old images' contain ? Landscapes, Buildings, People. Machinery, Animals at work. The word 'old' can also included relatively new scenes given the speed of land property development these days. With each image submitted please provide details e.g. location, date or the particular event (if any) captured in the picture.

The Rushcliffe Photographic Society is a non profit making group and thus cannot offer payment for these images, the Heritage Challenge is purely a means to retain the past all around us.
